The Bumble Bee Kite by Bryce

The Bumble Bee Kite by Bryce M.--2nd grade
This is how to make a bumble bee kite. First read the instructions and buy the supplies. Next get some thick paper that is any kind of color. After that, fold the paper in half. Then measure the paper with a yard stick.
Next pull the corner to dot "A" then staple it. Then do the same at the other side. Get a permanent marker and draw on you're bumble bee kite. Get some streamers if you want, but first get some sticky tape and put the streamers on. Last punch a hole in the kite at "B" and tie the line.
Now I am going to show you some safety rules. Never fly kites over peaple's head. Don't ever fly kites by trees.
Now it's times to fly your kite!

This site takes you to a PDF link for the plans for the bumblebee kite. Go here & then click on “Kites in the Classroom” to download the PDF. Then go to page 30 for the plans.

  • Bryce,

You make me want to go out and fly a kite. I'm impressed that you can make your own kite! Thanks for describing this for us!
